Newt Gingrich has an answer to income inequality, get rid of the adults who are working as janitors in schools and the unions that protect them and give those jobs to children under the age of 16. According to Newt the child labor laws aren’t there to protect children as much as they are to protect union jobs. I wonder if Mr. Gingrich ever pondered how it would make poor families better off to take a decent paying job away from Dad so that they could turn around and give it to Jr. for minimum wage?  That’s assuming there would even be a minimum wage, if Newt were to get his way.
